Area Rug Cleaning Procedure:
- Inspection: from new rugs to antique hand-made oriental rugs, every rug that arrives at our shop is carefully inspected in order to assess the proper cleaning technique based on the condition and type of fibre.
- Cleaning: We will remove dry loose soil and precondition your rug with emulsifiers to loosen dirt and oil. Any spots on your rug are carefully removed with spot remover. Subject to pre-testing, we can successfully remove most common stains, including pet stains, wine, tea, coffee and juice. We will then dissolve and remove any ground in soils.
- Neutralizer: After washing, we use vacuum extractors to remove most of the moisture from the carpet. and a neutralizer is applied to restore the original PH of your delicate rug to make it like new.
- Drying: After cleaning, the area rug is hung to dry naturally.
